Hello my dear followers I wanted to quickly do a part two of my month long vacation to Sedona, Arizona I felt this warranted a deeper dive since I packed so much into this trip. My ma and I climbed Cathedral Rock a new hike for us beautiful red rocks, purrrrrrfect temperature we got there early to beat the crowds definitely worth the views alone :). Then my aunt came to visit us during our last week in Sedona, my recommendation??? A road trip to Jerome 5,000 feet and up above the mountains between Sedona and Cottonwood. Here in the town of Jerome it is Halloween every single day known as a mining town and tourist attraction, they pride themselves with ghost tours and hauntings. Thousands of people died in Jerome a long time ago the town was used for the miners in the caves and there was brothels for them to hang out in after a long day working in the mines. I bought a Haunted Hamburger shirt named after the restaurant we went to for lunch that day.
I also visited Maynard James Keenan’s winery (he was not there during my visit but his buddy Allen who had known MJK since I was six years old was tending to the bar that day) very kind fella I tried two different wines a sampling so as not to break the bank. Allen was very knowledgeable and prompt I enjoyed the company and conversations he knows his wine and the surrounding area quite well. After we finished at the winery, Allen mentioned James had his own Puscifer shop two doors down named after his band of the same name. The record shop was also very cool, I definitely recommend Jerome as a whole and can’t wait to return one day.
At the end of our vacation we went up towards the Sedona airport and had lunch up there (a small private airport with the smallest planes I’ve ever seen in real time, we saw a red plane take off on the runway after our lunch concluded. Unfortunately it all happened so fast I was unable to capture it. As for lunch??? I ordered the southern fried chicken which came with biscuits a side salad a side soup, with a slice of cantaloupe. I ate everything except for the last two pieces of fried chicken I took that back to the villa with me, and ate those the following day.
This wraps up my time in Sedona, towards the end of the month I will recap my next adventure in Miami, Florida where I will visit my sister at the college university for an extended weekend getaway :).
